Matthew T Cooke SEPc, is a trauma-informed coach, facilitator, and nervous system educator with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals in developing resilience, emotional regulation, and sustainable leadership.
His work is grounded in somatic and attachment-based approaches that help clients move through overwhelm and burnout, reconnect to their bodies, and access greater clarity and ease.
Matthew holds a B.S. in Health Promotion with an emphasis in Life Coaching, Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes, and Motivational Interviewing from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, and is trained and certified in Somatic Experiencing (Peter Levine), Integrative Attachment Therapy, DARe (Diane Poole Heller), Kathy Kain, Organic Intelligence (Steve Hoskinson), and Irene Lyon, and continues to deepen his practice in nervous system health, shame work, and trauma resolution.
Before focusing on nervous system work and coaching, Matthew helped lead content development for a startup dedicated to well-being and personal growth, collaborating with over 200 thought leaders in neuroscience, mindfulness, productivity, and conscious business. Following his own experience with burnout, he became passionate about supporting others in cultivating balance, embodied awareness, and sustainable growth.
Today, Matthew partners with individuals and groups — from creative professionals to healthcare practitioners and business leaders — to help them reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and develop grounded confidence both personally and professionally.
